00:43:53: I think thats how you
00:43:54: win.

00:43:59: And
00:44:00: are you aware of the European hip-hop scene?
00:44:03: Like, what do you think about
00:44:04: that?
00:44:06: The European hip hop scene?
00:44:07: I would... I used to be more on it but i fuck with it like..I really want a go to Europe.

00:44:29: Be a part of it in some way.
00:44:30: I would actually like to work with some European artists but as recently...I've been focused on- I've been locked into this Kale Problems thing so i haven't really looked at too many other places.
00:44:48: But Europe is definitely on the list and that's seen in market.
00:44:56: You know get to see and like live you give.
00:44:59: I'm saying
00:45:00: yeah, you gotta get to leave the experience.
00:45:03: You know And it may be come back with a new mindset after that.
00:45:07: Yeah That's gonna make you write some ill shit.
00:45:10: Do you know?
00:45:11: Definitely in.

00:45:17: You don't understand.
00:45:19: so um I went on tour like two years ago with what happened in this group Mayday.
00:45:28: And it was my first tour and we went around the country, you get to see certain little small towns around a country.
00:45:37: You just see like with the music will do that certain people.
00:45:40: The effect is has I know going there's place like Europe where so much of culture I just know it's gonna be, is like you said.
00:45:50: Imma come back with some whole different perspective and some ho- You know?
00:45:54: Im already knowing.
00:45:55: Yeah man!
00:45:56: Like we say earlier its all about doing good music quality music And when u do that then your able to please the fans overseas even if they don't speak English like dat They'll catch the vibe,
00:46:08: y'know?
00:46:09: They'll feel it.
00:46:09: yeah man!
00:46:10: Yeah they will feel it.
00:46:11: Yeah they want to hear some autentic music Autentic stuff
00:46:15: ya know.
00:46:16: Yes
00:46:17: sir You know, every passionate individual about hip-hop
00:46:21: culture wants
00:46:22: to leave a trace in Hip Hop history.
00:46:24: And you care problems like what do want be remembered for as an artist?
00:46:31: Man my perspective I think that's one of the greatest things are offered because As I grow as an artist, I'm around a bunch of different artists.
00:46:47: You know?
00:46:48: Of all the different calibers and from different places in regions... ...and ages.
00:46:53: you know stages some are big some is smaller And it's like um think i hold on to my perspective.. ..I hold onto giving myself being my authentic self that where I win.
00:47:10: So I think that's what i want to be remembered for.I wanna be the guy like yo, The Jordan.
00:47:21: you know where it is?
00:47:22: You could be great but Jordan gonna be Jordan right.
00:47:28: he has his own patented way of how he played the game.
00:47:36: so im just trying let my style and flavor and perspective kind of cement itself
00:47:46: And lets go back in time.
00:47:47: now.
00:47:48: What made you want to start your career as a professional?
00:47:52: You know it starts taking things seriously,
00:47:55: man.
00:47:55: That's the great question.
00:47:56: so This is how.
00:47:58: this is how the whole this house on my uncle for Uncle and he was like ten eleven years older than me.
00:48:06: So I had like an uncle that was like a big brother because we were like kind of you know And he would do music.
00:48:14: He was rapping and he him in hopson went to the same school and Hobson lived up the street from me.
00:48:25: so like when I was little Tim used to come my grandma's house.
00:48:31: hmmm, sometimes i would go to Hobsons house.
00:48:34: he had his recording thing in the basement.
00:48:41: He has a studio on the basement...I was at elementary school maybe first or second grade?
00:48:46: Second or third grade something.
00:48:51: But my uncle, my Uncle Curtis he taught me how to rap and it's funny.
00:48:54: So the thong song by Cisco right?
00:48:59: I remember My uncle made me repeat The Thong Song over And Over again.
00:49:05: He was like each time you do It Each Time You Repeat It Do With More Flavor Do with more and that's How He Was Teaching Me Timing in Cadence.
00:49:17: so the thongs song is how i learned how To Rap.
00:49:21: That's how I learned.
00:49:21: How to rap that's hot?
00:49:22: That's the truth, that's a truth.
00:49:24: The thong song is how I learn how to wrap.
00:49:26: my uncle Curtis taught me how to rap.
00:49:28: and then what made Me want to take rap Like you wanna be a rapper?
00:49:34: Well everybody wants it be a wrapper but what made me really think i could Be a rapper was seeing hops in success because i remember being little And Being In his basement Before His you know, before his success and career took off.
00:49:48: And then seeing...and being in high school walking into seven-eleven and seeing him on the double excel.
00:49:55: I'm like oh!
00:49:56: i know that guy My friend's like yo!
00:49:58: Know That Guy?
00:49:59: Like I KNOW THAT GUY!
00:50:00: He knows it.
00:50:01: but that close proximity of someone just up to street for me You know It really did make things more real For
00:50:11: sure.
00:50:12: It's because you've seen it with your own eyes and then lived in, You know?
00:50:15: In your neighborhood who have seen things in real life And not on TV or radio, ya'know?
00:50:21: Yeah!
00:50:23: It's a guy I know Like yo he did that He did that.
00:50:28: Oh like...you hear about other people's success But we don't know those people.
00:50:32: We don't their story but its like.
00:50:34: i see him broke i see his grind.
00:50:38: Then i just saw them win.
00:50:41: It taught me like oh, dreams do come true.
00:50:45: You know it's not just no fairytale bullshit that shit could happen.
00:50:50: Yes sir and big shout out to your Uncle Curtis man he did the right thing!
00:50:55: Yeah shoutout to Uncle Curtis, shoutout Hopsin too!
00:50:57: Yup very important people in you life
00:51:02: Very, very.
00:51:03: And let me ask this what has been the biggest challenge
00:51:08: of all?
00:51:09: The biggest challenge in my career is um, I've had a couple so it's like the biggest...the biggest is keeping your head above water i would say.
00:51:23: It is hard being an artist.
00:51:26: Um..it's hard when you're like You kind of feel like you're pouring a lot into something and it doesn't always feel appreciate it the way you would like, or... You know what I'm saying?
00:51:43: And then doing that over and over.
00:51:51: Over and over again It could become daunting.
00:51:58: What is this shit even about?
00:52:00: The game's changing!
00:52:01: The era we're in.
00:52:07: content creator, you gotta be a... You know what I'm saying?
00:52:10: Which ain't like-I'm not gonna say it's bad thing but its'a different things.
00:52:13: It is a different element that says yo!
00:52:16: I've just been working on how to make music and write songs with my songwriting ability But no.. How do you sell this thing or package these things?
00:52:31: This thing as an artist is fine And i think thats what alot of artists struggle with.
00:52:37: Yeah, because it's hard to manage the mental pressure that comes with all of this.
00:52:42: Nowadays if you're an artist
00:52:44: and cannot
00:52:44: be just a artist... ...you also gotta know how do video auditions or promote yourself sometimes.
00:52:50: You've got mix-and-master stuff so there are many things you have to wear!
00:52:56: So I heard somebody say like don't look what you can get After the shit, like look at what you become in the process just from showing up every day working hard everyday.
00:53:14: I made money off of...I've made some money making music but it's like i ain't make no boo-koo crazy.
00:53:22: I mean no crazy money.
00:53:23: yet.
00:53:23: so my main currency is Going across the country and doing shows.
00:53:31: or you know, I'm saying meeting someone who's like yo You're my favorite.
00:53:35: Like i'm somebody's favorite rapper is crazy almost like.
00:53:39: You know that's crazy?
00:53:40: I'm your favorite, you know There's like a billion.
00:53:42: there's a billion of these Of these things he liked out on the one that she'll like now listen to you every day in And this and that just Those things are like having artists that I like respect.
00:53:55: they're like you know, are deep in the game and they're like talking to me.
00:53:58: Like yo!
00:53:59: You...you were
00:54:00: special.".
00:54:01: And I'm like oh man that means a lot to me.
00:54:03: working with Hopper means a lots of me because like i said like hop is a legend.
00:54:07: you know what im saying?
00:54:08: It all started with bro.
00:54:10: he's like yeah would god- He was like I'd do three songs with you.
00:54:13: That how it started.
00:54:16: we over here making history.
00:54:18: thats how I feel.
00:54:21: Yeah..I think its because your different and you're not afraid to touch about different subjects in your music.
00:54:28: Right,
00:54:28: right!
00:54:29: And that's what I was saying earlier is like my perspective.
00:54:32: i think it's like um lived...I live the life..i've lived a real life.
