00:32:48: I started rapping when I was fourteen but didn't discover the local hip-hop scene until I was about maybe eighteen, nineteen So..I didn't even know it existed.

00:32:58: And once I discovered because we used to have an open mic in Columbus called The Groove Shack It's a record store call The Grooves

00:33:06: They would have DJ battles and open mics on certain days.

00:33:10: And then they would broadcast it on public access TV, so me and Kamu we discovered it at Jikai.

00:33:18: We discovered in our Public Access Television .And Then we figured out It was a record store.

00:33:22: that Was downtown.

00:33:23: when we first saw.

00:33:24: I thought it was something Broadcaster from New York ,we didn't think That stuff like this was going On In Our own city.

00:33:29: So once we Discovered it uh...We went down there.

00:33:33: and thats Where we started getting into Battles.

00:33:35: because I used to be really shy, especially like...I use to be very shy rapping.

00:33:39: Like i kept my head down when i rapped you know..i had no confidence.

00:33:42: so getting into these battles is what got me....got my chops up!
