00:31:46: he has the same thing for scratches.
00:31:48: you know you follow the notes and you know create melodies with the turntables.
00:31:54: There
00:31:55: you go.
00:31:56: Man, that's some ill shit.
00:31:57: Next level,
00:31:58: mad scientist type shit.
00:32:00: Yeah,
00:32:00: yeah, people just didn't understand how to use it, you know.
00:32:03: I guess new to them, so we
00:32:06: had a lot of criticism.
00:32:07: Yo, yo, for sure, man.
00:32:08: But you know, hip-hop is here to stay, man.
00:32:10: You know, recently, you know, it passed fifty years and still going strong and look at us, man.
00:32:16: Twenty-twenty-five, we are one of the illest years in hip-hop.
00:32:20: we've seen the legends dropping albums back to back to back.
00:32:24: it's never it's it's never enough man.
00:32:27: we still have some new shit coming out.
00:32:29: i heard the new big l song i heard the new ransom and dj from me and shit it
00:32:34: just
00:32:35: stops man.
00:32:37: yeah man this is forever
00:32:39: man it
00:32:41: ain't going nowhere man it's.
00:32:42: uh i mean in any genre.
00:32:44: you're gonna have the legends dropping.
00:32:47: So it's only fitting that they do it in hip-hop, you know what I'm saying?
00:32:50: For sure, for sure.
00:32:50: What you think about Twenty-Twenty-Five so far?
00:32:53: Like, you know, with the legends dropping albums back to back like that, like, did it give you more motivation to continue?
00:32:59: Oh, absolutely.
00:33:00: You know what I'm saying?
00:33:03: It just lets you know that, you know what I'm saying?
00:33:05: There's no time limit to it.
00:33:07: It's timeless, basically.
00:33:08: I mean, you can keep going.
00:33:12: And the thing that I like about it is that You know what I'm saying?
00:33:16: It's your own rules.
00:33:17: You know what I'm saying?
00:33:18: It's not like you're being pushed out.
00:33:22: If you want to drop, you drop.
00:33:24: If you're not dropping, it's on you.
00:33:26: You know what I'm saying?
00:33:27: For sure, for sure.
00:33:28: I like that part of me.
00:33:30: Yeah, man.
00:33:32: You say the world timeless.
00:33:33: And to you, what makes it timeless?
00:33:37: What's your recipe to make timeless music?
00:33:41: I mean, one, you got to be true to what you do.
00:33:44: and staying your lane.
00:33:47: But at the same time, you gotta reinvent that too.
00:33:50: You can't just stay stagnant and stay the same, you know what I'm saying?
00:33:56: But you can't go too far out of what you do.
00:33:59: I think that's, you know what I'm saying?
00:34:01: Because the longevity is gonna keep, the creativity is what keeps you there, you know what I'm saying?
00:34:06: It keeps you interested, you know what I'm saying?
00:34:12: Excuse me.
00:34:12: If you lose that, the creativity you lose that then it's over.
00:34:16: you know what I'm saying.
00:34:16: so
00:34:17: for sure for sure.
00:34:19: that's what.
00:34:19: that's the timeless part.
00:34:21: yeah I think you also got to be able to handle the metal the mental pressure that comes with making music because you know being creative is one thing.
00:34:30: yeah so you know knowing how to stay in your lane and focusing on your goals it's another thing and sometimes it's hard to handle.
00:34:38: how do you handle the pressure?
00:34:39: you know especially in twenty twenty five with the technology you know you always gotta be on social media dropping stuff or people will forget about you you know.
00:34:48: so how do you handle that?
00:34:50: I mean I don't I don't.
00:34:52: I don't let them face me I don't let the pressure or none of that.
00:34:54: I just I just do what I have to do and I use it for what is needed to be used for.
00:35:00: you know what I'm saying and you know social media is just another tool to promote yourself promote your music but It's not.
00:35:09: it's not the only tool you know saying and I Mean me personally.
00:35:14: I try to keep like my social media catered to what I do.
00:35:18: I don't like trying to like go out the box and do nothing crazy or do anything to try to get attention and nothing like that.
00:35:24: You know I'm saying that's not really like me and I'm not going basically Technically be an open book.
00:35:31: You know I'm saying I'm not just gonna put anything out there.
00:35:32: You know, I like.
00:35:33: I like to laugh You know some funny things up or whatever Things like that, you know I'm saying.
00:35:38: so that's how that's my approach to social media.
00:35:42: I'm not just to be reckless with it or just do anything just to get attention.
00:35:45: Yeah, you like to have your private life, too.
00:35:48: Yeah, exactly.
00:35:48: You know what I'm saying?
00:35:49: Mm-hmm.
00:35:50: I always like to separate
00:35:51: the two, you know
00:35:53: You see what?
00:35:55: Separate the two
00:35:56: of a show for show man.
00:35:58: It's like me man.
00:35:59: I never was a fan of you know posting everything that you do in your life like The food, you know, the places you go to, some of that needs to be secret, you know what I'm saying?
00:36:09: Yeah, yeah, it depends.
00:36:11: I mean, I don't knock nobody that does it.
00:36:12: Yeah, same here.
00:36:13: Nothing
00:36:13: like that, you know what I'm saying?
00:36:15: They using it the way they, you know what I'm saying?
00:36:18: That they, that works for them, you know what I'm saying?
00:36:20: I'm just talking about for me.
00:36:22: But yeah, you know, I mean, there's time for that, you know?
00:36:25: Time for everything, you know what I'm saying?
00:36:29: Yup,
00:36:29: yup.
00:36:29: But not all the time.
00:36:30: Yeah, not all the time.
00:36:31: You got, you know, here and there.
00:36:33: Yeah, it ain't gotta try too hard, you know?
00:36:35: For sure, man.
00:36:36: It's got to stay natural, you know, in that part of it.
00:36:38: Exactly.
00:36:41: And now, at the start of the interview, you know, we talked about the single No Way Out.
00:36:46: So tell the people all about that.
00:36:47: You know, what made you want to create that song with a, you know, it has a strong message in there.
00:36:52: So tell the people about that and also what you have coming up, man.
00:36:55: Well, I mean, when I was writing that song, I was basically writing from I guess personal experiences, you know what I'm saying?
00:37:06: So I guess at the time, I didn't have nothing to write about.
00:37:08: So I just said, you know, I'm just going to write about something I went through.
00:37:12: And I was listening to a few songs or whatever.
00:37:15: And I got inspiration to write that song.
00:37:19: And I just want to talk about the experience.
00:37:21: So while doing that, I said, well, if I'm going to do it, then I'm going to just keep it real, you know what I'm saying?
00:37:26: So I did that.
00:37:27: And realizing at the same time, too, it's going to open up some doors and open up questions.
00:37:31: And at the same time, I was thinking, hey, there could be some positivity out of this.
00:37:38: Sharing my experience might prevent somebody else from going through that same type of experience.
00:37:43: You know what I'm saying?
00:37:43: So I was like, let's do it.
00:37:46: And that's how I basically came about writing the song.
00:37:48: I mean, obviously I had to beat already.
00:37:50: I don't know if I achieved that goal, but when I was making the beat, I was trying to... make it sound like an AD sound.
00:38:01: You know what I'm saying?
00:38:01: I wasn't trying to make it sound new, updated, nothing like that.
00:38:05: I mean, I used the ATO weight and everything.
00:38:06: I was trying to strictly go for like an AD sound and just experimenting kind of like, you know what I'm saying?
00:38:15: It has that AD sound, you know, especially with the synthesizers that you use,
00:38:20: you know.
00:38:21: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
00:38:22: I try to keep it in that lane with those instruments.
00:38:26: At the tempo too, if I'm not mistaken, it's ninety-five BPM.
00:38:29: I remember because when I played on the radio, I see the BPM.
00:38:33: So, you know, up-tempo stuff.
00:38:36: I think so, but I forgot what the BPM is, but I think it's that.
00:38:38: I mean, I'll take your word for it because you loaded it up inside.
00:38:41: I actually forgot what it was.
00:38:45: Yeah, man.
00:38:45: But it's a good thing, you know, to listen to that song, to know more about the person that you are and the stuff that you lived in your life, man.
00:38:54: Yes, sir.
00:38:54: Yes, sir.
00:38:55: Mm-hmm.
00:38:55: Yeah, what can we expect for you after that?
00:38:57: You know, it's a dope single definitely stays in your head.
00:39:00: That's what I like about it.
00:39:02: Like it stays in your head.
00:39:03: We listen to it just once It stays in your head.
00:39:06: So that's a sign that it's a good effective song, you know,
00:39:10: thank you.
00:39:10: Thank you.
00:39:11: Yeah, I try to create things like that, you know, saying um Things that just stick to you, you know saying that that don't just fade away that that has I guess a message.
00:39:21: Yeah, you know something.
00:39:22: that If you gravitate to something that you want to listen to again, you know what I'm saying?
00:39:29: So that's the goal.
00:39:31: I like the fact that it's almost a personal song because you talk about some personal stuff, but at the same time it stays in your head.
00:39:39: So it has the potential of a real authentic song that people are going to enjoy because it's both at the same time.
00:39:46: You can nod your head, almost dance to it.
00:39:48: But you have a strong and personal message at the same time, which is something that's missing a little bit in today's hip-hop, you know what I'm saying?
00:39:58: Yeah, yeah.
00:39:59: Well, that definitely was a personal song.
00:40:03: I mean, as far as today's hip-hop, I mean, the thing is, my opinion, you know what I'm saying?
00:40:10: Instead of... I feel like people are scared to be themselves, man.
00:40:14: Not everybody, but people are just scared to be themselves, you know what I'm saying?
00:40:18: Like, people are scared to be original.
00:40:20: Like, they want to do... Everybody's trending, you know what I'm saying?
00:40:24: Everybody's trending.
00:40:25: That's what they... That's what I feel like people want to follow.
00:40:30: And some of them, you can't blame them because I guess, you know, they try and they look searching for that success.
00:40:35: And they probably feel that's the way to achieve it.
00:40:37: But I mean, but that's what's missing though.
00:40:39: Originality is definitely missing.
00:40:41: And a lot of things, not just music, you know what I'm saying?
00:40:44: Yup.
00:40:46: I agree with that.
00:40:47: I think it's the same thing with movies, you know, nowadays.
00:40:50: Yeah, movies, everything's a remake, you know what I'm saying?
00:40:53: Even with sports, football, basketball, whatever, everybody, whatever, nobody has their own style.
00:40:58: Like a lot of teams are playing styles of wherever they feel like it's winning, whatever works.
00:41:05: I guess it's all the analytics thing or whatever it is, you know what I'm saying?
00:41:09: The algorithms.
00:41:10: Yeah.
00:41:12: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I think if you want to beat the algorithm, you gotta be original, stay in your lane
00:41:18: and create
00:41:19: unique art.
00:41:20: We're not only talking about music here, we're just talking about art in general, something like that.
00:41:26: You're not DNA, you know
00:41:27: what I mean?
00:41:28: Yeah, exactly.
00:41:29: You can always do what you do naturally, what you're doing with somebody.
00:41:34: When you're doing somebody else, you're just trying, you know what I'm saying?
00:41:37: So it's just crazy.
00:41:39: you know doing like copying stuff we heard about that.
00:41:42: you know it can work maybe once but it's not going to work forever.
00:41:46: I think people are going back to authenticity.
00:41:50: you know people need that real authentic stuff.
00:41:53: yeah yeah
00:41:54: it's gonna fade out.
00:41:55: you know
00:41:56: I mean it's to the point.
00:41:57: yeah because I mean I mean it's even simple.
00:41:59: when you talk about physical tangible things like vinyl people are buying, mother is buying vinyl now It's crazy, you know what I'm saying?
00:42:10: Vinyl?
00:42:11: Yeah, I'm talking about that, man.
00:42:13: Are you planning on releasing vinyls or CDs, cassettes, anything physical for your music?
00:42:20: I haven't recently, but I mean, I plan to.
00:42:24: If there's a lane for it, you know what I'm saying?
00:42:26: I mean, technology has advanced so much that, you know, I don't know.
00:42:31: I mean, if there's a lane for it, but it just goes to show me that people actually want to hold something.
00:42:36: Yeah,
00:42:37: man.
00:42:38: They don't just, you know, they want to read, they want
00:42:42: to hold it.
00:42:43: That's why
00:42:43: they gravitate in the records or CDs or whatever the case is.
00:42:47: Yeah,
00:42:47: and they like to get all the graph copies.
00:42:49: You know, I have the signature of the artist on the vinyl on the CD.
00:42:52: Yeah, that
00:42:53: I could understand.
00:42:55: You can't do that on the stream.
00:42:58: One thing that's important too is the artwork.
00:43:00: Because when you look at a artwork on your phone, it's small, you cannot really see.
00:43:05: all the details and stuff, you know what I'm saying?
00:43:06: Exactly, and you don't see, you got to kind of search for credits, like see who did what, and people want to know that, who produced it, who wrote it, whatever the case is.
00:43:18: Yeah, bro,
00:43:18: you know, back in the days, that's what I used to do when I was a kid, you know, I used to look at the credits, even look at the studios that made the album, and look up the address of those studios, the labels,
00:43:30: and send out
00:43:31: demos,
00:43:32: you know?
00:43:33: Yeah, that's how, yeah, you know what I'm saying?
00:43:35: The labels, the label address, you know, send the demos to them.
00:43:39: Yeah,
00:43:39: man.
00:43:40: I mean, you can still find that information now, you know what I'm saying?
00:43:44: But I mean, are there still offices, you know what I'm saying?
00:43:46: There are so many cutbacks.
00:43:49: Yup, yup, yup.
00:43:50: You're right, you're right.
00:43:51: But I can't wait, man, to see some, you know, physical releases from you, because... like we said earlier you know using social media is can be a good tool but you also got to be present in real life you know in the streets.
00:44:04: you got to.
00:44:05: you know put out stickers flyers and at the same time be very active on social media.
00:44:10: I think that's the recipe if you want to win you know.
00:44:14: yeah I agree definitely.
00:44:17: we had some merch going before.
00:44:18: we're about to bring it back again like shirts and things of that nature.
00:44:25: We had cubs, mugs, we're gonna bring that back.
00:44:29: We got the website.
00:44:31: Another problem too, a lot of times when people search my name as an artist, they tend to get into some stumbling blocks because of the spelling of my name.
00:44:42: I spell it with the E and not the I. So it's spelled incorrectly on purpose.
00:44:48: For sure, for sure.
00:44:50: You know what I mean?
00:44:50: So that's been an issue, but you know, that problem's getting fixed.
00:44:55: I've been doing a lot of different radio and interviews like this and things of that nature.
00:45:03: So people have been gravitating towards it, you know what I'm saying?
00:45:05: So I've seen definitely things boosting up.
00:45:07: So with that being said, we're seeing a lane definitely to put out some physical products.
00:45:15: No, no, items.
00:45:17: That's dope, man.
00:45:18: Everybody that's listening, you know, be on the lookout for that.
00:45:22: And if you didn't hear the single yet, well, I doubt it because if you listen to the Mixed Aepatic show, you heard it many times.
00:45:28: Go check out Contagious Funk, No Way Out.
00:45:32: It's one of the dopest singles that I've been spinning on the show.
00:45:35: So
00:45:35: everybody that's listening, make sure you go check this shit
00:45:38: out.
00:45:39: Yes, please check it out.
00:45:41: Yeah, man.
00:45:42: Appreciate
00:45:43: it.
00:45:43: Can we expect maybe an album from you in the next months or next weeks?
00:45:49: The album, I'm working on the album right now.
00:45:55: I would say I was shooting for next month, November.
00:46:01: But I don't know if we're gonna do that.
00:46:04: So we're most likely looking at um the latest early twenty twenty six okay early next year but definitely gonna have another single coming out uh at the end of this month or next month.
00:46:16: we didn't we didn't.
00:46:16: we didn't set up the timing or anything yet but definitely got something else coming out.
00:46:22: um before the album.
00:46:23: hey dope
00:46:24: man and there's a video.
00:46:25: i decided a video too for uh for no way out.
00:46:28: okay
00:46:29: yeah i decided the video.
00:46:30: we're gonna.
00:46:31: we're gonna release the video soon.
00:46:33: I'm actually picking it up today.
00:46:35: Just sending them the audio that makes the master audio or whatever.
00:46:39: Okay, so you can add to it and then yeah, we're gonna get that ready and rolling now.
00:46:43: Yes, sir.
00:46:44: Yes, sir.
00:46:44: Well, I can't wait to see the video man because like I told you that just a strong single it has potential and You know all you need now is a video to you know.
00:46:53: get it to the next level.
00:46:54: I think
00:46:54: yes, sir.
00:46:55: Yes, sir.
00:46:56: Thank you.
00:46:56: Appreciate it, man.
00:46:57: That's definitely coming within the next week or so.
00:47:01: But yeah, it's always going to be on the Fontages channel and it's also going to be on ContagiousFunk.com.
00:47:09: That's the website, that website right there, ContagiousFunk.com.
00:47:14: That leads you to all my social media, all my videos and there's some exclusive songs on there or older songs that I've done
00:47:23: too.
00:47:25: it's super important man to have your own website.
00:47:27: you know some artists don't realize that but when you have your own website you're free to do everything that you
00:47:34: want.
00:47:34: you know yeah definitely I mean it's your storefront you know
00:47:40: yeah
00:47:42: so yeah so yeah I'm definitely gonna get more active and start like I said.
00:47:46: that's another lane from the social media.
00:47:49: you know Whether it's post up and I want to get it to where I could actually do some live streaming on the site.
00:47:56: And like I said mentioned before, we're going to have merch on the site as well.
00:48:02: And we're also going to have the labels website, RealStreetRecords.com.
00:48:09: You know what I'm saying?
00:48:10: So we're going to have that as well.
00:48:11: There's going to be some merch available, some Real Street merch.
00:48:13: And I guess that's where you would find.
00:48:18: Well, you can find physical items on both.
00:48:22: As far as CDs or whatever, you know, tapes, records, I don't know, whatever people are still into nowadays.
00:48:30: That's part of the technology, though.
00:48:34: So here, drop the address of the website real quick, man.
00:48:38: Let the people know.
00:48:39: The website is ContagiousFunk.com.
00:48:42: I spell it C-O-N-T-A-G-E-O-U-S.
00:48:48: FUNK.com.
00:48:51: A lot of people might try to spell it with the I and they might get lost or whatever.
00:48:57: I don't know how that search engine comes up, what comes up for them.
00:49:01: But it's contagiousfunk.com and I spell it with the E instead
00:49:04: of the I. Yes, sir.
00:49:06: Yes, sir.
00:49:06: So everybody that's listening, make sure you go check out the website from the home.
00:49:11: It's super
00:49:11: important.
00:49:12: I'm sorry, not to cut you off my bad.
00:49:15: The YouTube channel is Fontages.
00:49:17: It's the Fontages channel at YouTube.
00:49:20: Okay, dope,
00:49:21: dope.
00:49:22: Yeah, sorry.
00:49:22: My bad.
00:49:22: Oh good,
00:49:22: man.
00:49:23: Oh good.
00:49:23: You know the people.
00:49:24: gotta know, man.
00:49:25: That's why I'm asking you, you know what I mean?
00:49:27: Yeah, yeah, sir.
00:49:29: Yeah.
00:49:29: Talking about the people, man, and you know the upcoming artists, maybe they're listening to this show right now.
00:49:35: Do you have any advice to tell them?
00:49:38: Any advice is, you gotta keep on.
00:49:42: That's number one.
00:49:43: You just got to keep going.
00:49:44: You got to keep grinding.
00:49:47: And stop complaining, man.
00:49:49: I hear a lot of complaints in the music business.
00:49:53: Stop complaining, man.
00:49:54: You know what I'm saying?
00:49:56: It's like playing ball, man.
00:49:57: To rap, make a call.
00:49:58: If you complain all day, it's going to still be the same call.
00:50:01: So
00:50:01: complaining,
00:50:03: it's going to get you nowhere.
00:50:04: But just keep grinding, man.
00:50:06: If you're true to your game, if you're true to your craft, if you're true to your art, then that's it.
00:50:09: You know what I'm saying?
00:50:11: Most people start young anyway.
00:50:13: Everybody starts young.
00:50:14: It's a lot of people.
00:50:16: So you're gonna go through those growing pains.
00:50:20: For sure.
00:50:21: And one thing that I will add on top of the stuff that you said is also be nice.
00:50:26: Say a lot of artists forget that they also have to be nice to others if they want to open doors, get opportunities.
00:50:34: You know what I mean, bro?
00:50:34: Well, it's a lot of artists.
00:50:37: I
00:50:38: guess the amount of conduct yourselves in the business world, you know what I'm saying?
00:50:43: Now when you're doing this, you're in the business world now.
00:50:45: You know what I'm saying?
00:50:48: You gotta know how to maneuver and manage.
00:50:49: And if you can't do that, then you have somebody else.
00:50:52: That's why people have managers.
00:50:54: Yep, yep.
00:50:55: Definitely, man.
00:50:56: You gotta be able to show respect so you can get the respect back.
00:51:00: That's how it works, man.
00:51:02: You're a business.
00:51:02: You're a brand, man.
00:51:03: You're a business.
00:51:04: You're a product.
00:51:05: At the end of the day, when you're an artist.
00:51:07: So, you know, personal, you gotta separate the two, I guess.
00:51:11: You know what I mean?
00:51:12: Yeah, man.
00:51:13: It's a tricky game, man.
00:51:14: It is, man.
00:51:15: It is.
00:51:15: You know, only the strong survives, man.
00:51:17: That's what we say out there, man.
00:51:19: I don't
00:51:19: know.
00:51:20: Mm-hmm.
00:51:21: And talking about that, you know, what has been the biggest challenge in your career so
00:51:26: far?
00:51:30: I mean, I had ups and downs.
00:51:32: I mean, the biggest challenge right now, I'm getting this search engine thing where people fire my name, you know what I'm saying?
00:51:38: So, I mean, I guess the biggest challenge man is always when anybody else goes through promotion man getting getting getting the results you know and and you know getting things done in that window of opportunity because it's a small window when you're dealing with this product and we put out a product you got a small window and you got to promote it right and if you don't you know I'm saying it gets bigger than you.
00:52:09: Then you got problems, man.
00:52:10: You know what I'm saying?
00:52:10: That's been the biggest stubborn block that I've had along the course of my career.
00:52:13: There's always been promotions.
00:52:16: You know what I'm saying?
00:52:16: Because you're dealing independently.
00:52:18: I've had deals, yes.
00:52:21: But you know what I'm saying?
00:52:22: It's still, when you got a deal, you're at the label.
00:52:24: You're still like, yo, what's up?
00:52:25: I need some promotions.
00:52:26: You know what I'm saying?
00:52:27: So it's going to go both ways, which is a lot of artists' complaints, including
00:52:31: myself.
00:52:33: Yeah, because signing a deal is not everything, you know?
00:52:36: That's right.
00:52:37: Especially if we're talking distribution deal, you know, it's named distribution deal for a reason.
00:52:43: It's not a real deal with promotion.
00:52:46: It's just distribution.
00:52:47: People forget about that.
00:52:49: You still gotta deliver certain things.
00:52:50: They're not gonna fund you, you know, everything.
00:52:53: They're just doing distribution.
00:52:55: And distribution nowadays is different.
00:52:57: Like, you know, what are you really distributing?
00:52:59: You know, you're just getting into streaming sites.
00:53:02: There's no stores or nothing like that anymore, really.
00:53:05: Nope, nope.
00:53:06: And everybody can't do that nowadays.
00:53:07: You know, you sign up for a tune call or distro kit, whatever.
00:53:11: Anybody can do that in a few clicks,
00:53:13: you know?
00:53:15: Pretty much.
00:53:17: And what's your strategy when you put out a record?
00:53:19: Like, you know, in terms of like, what's your plan to promote your record the right way?
00:53:26: I mean, I like to hit, I like to hit up the radio, you know what I'm saying?
00:53:31: Get some radio spins helps out a lot.
00:53:37: But I just throw it out there, man, and see what it does, you know what I mean?
00:53:42: I kind of like, you know, I know we live in like a microwave society or whatever.
00:53:48: That's what they call it.
00:53:49: Like everything seems to like come die out quick.
00:53:54: So I kind of like, you know, like to stretch out a record, you know, I like get some spins on the radio or start off with the social media, a little promotion.
00:54:05: And then instead of dropping the video when I drop the song, no, I drop the video later.
00:54:13: You know what I'm saying?
00:54:14: It kind of brings life back to the record.
00:54:17: You sure?
00:54:18: I drop the record first, and then they'll sit there and do whatever, social media for a month, boom, boom, whatever.
00:54:25: And then that next month, or a month and a half later, I go to radio.
00:54:31: I'm doing radio man and then you know just take it from there and then video or video first.
00:54:36: whatever the case is there's no you know whatever's gonna work first it's just.
00:54:42: the whole goal is to stretch out the record.
00:54:45: Sure I think you're a hundred percent right man because when you look at the hit singles it's not it's not a hit single in a few days.
00:54:52: you know some people spend money spend time sometimes a year maybe two years promoting the same record over and over again.
00:55:00: That's how you get the results,
00:55:03: you know?
00:55:04: Yeah, I mean, especially if it's a good record and you got good results, you got good feedback, I should say.
00:55:12: Yeah, you know, you want to stretch it out.
00:55:13: You want to push it some more.
00:55:17: You don't want to just let it die out.
00:55:18: Like, okay, this is his life cycle in three months, so whatever the case may be.
00:55:22: And then you move on from there.
00:55:24: I mean, to each his own, but... yeah um yeah you want to.
00:55:28: you want to get back.
00:55:28: you want to maximize that that product.
00:55:30: you know you want to maximize that song and get the most out of it to know it to try to get its real potential.
00:55:37: yeah
00:55:38: you know did you get it played everywhere?
00:55:40: did everybody hear it?
00:55:41: or whatever the case is you know that's the question.
00:55:44: so
00:55:45: yeah because the song you know it might be hold to you but it's still new to a lot of people.
00:55:50: so you know always gotta promote it.
00:55:53: Yeah, you're gonna promote it.
00:55:54: and at the same time, you know, you're gonna create and give them new content because, you know, there are people that hurt yourself and it's gonna be old to some people.
00:56:02: Yeah, because you know, they hurt it.
00:56:04: You know,
00:56:05: so you still gotta hit them with the new joints.
00:56:09: Yeah, man, keep it coming.
00:56:12: Yeah, yeah, man.
00:56:12: We'll be here, you know, to support the new record, man, you know, push that shit out in France and many countries, you know, they're like your contagious font music.
00:56:21: you know and put it on rotation out there.
00:56:22: that's how we do it man.
00:56:23: you know we're trying to spread the word.
00:56:26: when we hear good hip hop good shit we're here to play.
00:56:29: that's our role as DJs.
00:56:31: you know it's music platforms.
00:56:33: we're here for that man.
00:56:35: so we'll be here to hear the new new shit that you got and I can't wait to hear the album.
00:56:40: you know what I mean like to hear how you conduct that album.
00:56:43: you know you put everything together.
00:56:45: I'm curious about that so I'll be on the lookout man.
00:56:48: Yes sir, yes sir.
00:56:50: We working on it right now.
00:56:52: No, no.
00:56:54: We work constantly.
00:56:56: Yeah, I know you're a hard worker, man.
00:56:57: That's the only way to be.
00:56:58: Yeah,
00:56:59: man.
00:57:00: Plus I'm having fun,
00:57:02: man.
00:57:02: For sure, for sure.
00:57:03: If you don't have fun, you gotta quit, man.
00:57:05: You always gotta have fun.
00:57:06: I'm having
00:57:07: fun.

00:57:16: You know what I'm saying?
00:57:16: I've been in the studio all night.
